Description
VENIFIT is a peripheral venous puncture training simulator with high tactile and visual realism. Compatible with existing manikins at the simulation center, it can be mounted directly on them or used as a wearable simulator on a standardized patient. It features a puncturable block with 2 veins of equal diameter positioned at different depths, simulating varying levels of difficulty in palpation. The system reproduces blood flashback when the vein is accessed with an intravenous catheter, faithfully replicating the conditions of a real clinical scenario.

- Hyper-realistic tactile sensation during puncture: you can feel the change in resistance as the needle passes through the dermis and reaches the vein. A negative pressure is perceived in the dermis, followed by a “pop” and a pressure shift when the vein is accessed. The vein can be palpated realistically, and a slight collapse under finger pressure is even visible.
- Hyper-realistic blood flow: when the intravenous catheter enters the vein, simulated blood refluxes, confirming the correct positioning of the catheter.
- Unbeatable cost per use: allows more than 2,400 punctures (tested with a 21G IV catheter needle); the skin pad shows no perforation marks and the vein is highly resistant, does not get damaged or leak.
- Variable depth levels: includes two veins of the same diameter positioned at different depths, simulating varying levels of difficulty for palpation.
